The SMW Range
Hot rolled mild steel standard window (SMW or F-series) sections have been used to manufacture windows and doors for over almost 90 years, providing Strength, Security and Durability whilst also providing desirable slim lined frames.

As a result of its long established history the series has been installed in of thousands of locations worldwide and continues to be in demand for new and replacement steel windows today. Because the SMW section has a thinner front to back profile (25mm) than the W20 section it makes it an ideal replacement or additional windows in buildings of heritage or in areas of conservation. Additionally many SMW steel windows were produced prior to 1948 when galvanising was first introduced and therefore, by offering these sections, the original windows can be replaced with like for like.
