Classic
The development of this window mostly came about by accident; during our contract to restore in excess of 10,000 windows on one of the largest and finest public schools in the country, the requirement arose to produce 1200 exact replica windows. The detail and weight of the sections of material that the windows are made from are some of the finest examples of the period and allow for better weather sealing and more options of this type of window. We now have these sections of this material specifically extruded for us to allow us exclusively to produce this style of window.
The ‘Classic’ window is particularly suited to applications where authenticity or decorative detail is more important, It is however more time consuming to produce; it is a much heavier and a more decorative window than the normal ‘W20 type’ windows but the value is evident in the end product. Glazing options are limited to single glazing such as plain float glass or traditional leaded lights while detailed glazing bars can achieve Georgian or lattice style windows. Again this window can be incorporated in oak or other timber frames. Recently we have fitted this style of window to a stately home, two country estates, a hunting lodge in the Scottish Highlands and several private period homes.
New Glazing
Our Classic Range are available in either leaded lights or modern and historical single glazing.
Leaded Lights and Lattice windows
We offer a full design and manufacture service for leaded lattice windows alongside our typical designs of Diamonds, Square, Queen Anne and bordering styles.

Single glazing
We offer a full range of modern and historical single glazing and that includes among others Toughened and Annealed Clear Float, Laminated, Horticultural and hand blown and moulded sheet replica cylinder and crown glasses.
Window Furniture
We offer a full range of Ironmongery to accompany all our Flat Iron Casements that are designed to be aesthetically pleasing and sympathetic to the windows with which they’re set. Or if suitable funriture is no longer commercially avalaible it is possible to replicate and match from original peices using traditional methods.
Existing Fittings – Refurbishment
Where windows are in need of refurbishment or replacement they may already have existing furniture that also requires maintenance. In many instances these can be repaired and refurbished back to their original selves instead of having to source or manufacture exact replicas.
